Derma doctor

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who has keratosis pilaris, right? Also known as chicken skin, it is little red bumps on the surface of the skin generally on the upper arms.

Well yesterday while parusing through the Galleria I decided to see if Sephora had any new products that I just HAD to have.

Sure enough I decided to purchase the Derma Doctor KP
Duty Body Scrub. Hoping it gets rid of the little arm bumps prior to the I do's!!

Low carb love

For those of you that know me well know that I LOVE practicing low carb eating.
From time to time I will share tips and foods that are low carb to help everyone reach their goals!

New Wedding News!

Hello all!

Clearly I haven't posted anything in months and who knows why?!

Well, let's see what has happened since CHRISTMAS...

::Valentine's Day::
Mr. Bun Bun went way beyond expectations for V Day this year! He gave me a beautiful Judith Ripka bracelet that I will wear on my wedding day!! He also gave me an amazing Spa Nordstrom gift card and Tory Burch wallet!! Ahh, Mr. Bun Bun knows what I love :)
For VDay we went to Brunch at America's with the family then had a birthday party with presents for Aunt Sharon!

Mr. Bun Bun and I booked our rehearsal dinner site! We decided on a mexican restaurant very close to the hotel. We figure this will be good since most of our guests are coming from out of town, so we can all make it over there very easily!

We also decided to register at one other store...yes I know 3 is plenty, but Macy's is no longer going to carry my Beautiful Kate Spade china pattern. ugg. Sooo, I decided to register my china at Bed, Bath, and Beyond as well.

I found an AWESOME BCBG rehearsal dinner dress, BUT I know its too fancy for the mexican restaurant (its listed under Cocktail Dress on their site)...without giving it away, here is a pic of a ***Similar*** dress:

Christmas Survey

1. Wrapping Paper or gift bags?
Mostly gift Wrap, I don't like bags during Christmas unless I'm in a pinch.

2. Real tree or Artificial?
Artificial tree. As much as I love the smell of a fresh tree, I don't like the fire hazard and pine needles all over the house. Plus Lily enjoys climbing the tree so fake is better.

3. When do you put up the tree?
Friday after Thanksgiving.

4. When do you take the tree down?
This year probably around the 2nd or 3rd

5 Do you like eggnog?
I love eggnog. I have no problem drinking a million calories during the holidaysl; that's what Holidays are for!

6. Favorite gift received as a child?
Frank...if you know who he is consider yourself very lucky. You are one of about 5.

9. Do you have a nativity scene?
No, we need one though! I love Patty's!

Mail, but I didn't send any this year because I spent so much on Save the Date postage!

Nothing that I can recall. I get great stuff!

Home Alone. I know It's a Wonderful Life is the best, and it is great, but I like to laugh more than cry.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
All year round! I'll probably buy a gift or two on December 26!

Um no.

Emmanuel. Chorus song when I was younger.

Staying home this year!

Engagement Party

so sorry I haven't written in a while!

Well...we had a BLAST at our engagement party!
so...mom made us a great engagement party dvd of child pics of MBB and I plus pics of us enjoying life now! I'm thinking we should play it at the wedding too...

Our save the dates went out this week! I will post a pic of them soon!

My Pooch!

Since my dog is a rare breed and people love to look at him, and ask if I shave him, and touch him because his body feels like skin...I decided to show a pic of my little devil, George W. Bailey. This picture is George with his favorite toy courtesy of MBB, Sheepy. You can't see his skin because he is wearing his ROCKSTAR tee, so I will post others later.

My love for raw fish

AHHH. I love sushi. MBB and I had Ikura yesterday, my absolute favorite sushi. So I just had to show some pics. Ok, now I'm hungry.

Something else I want to blog about is my fabulous facial last night at Spa Nordstrom. Can I please stress how wonderful Katherine of Spa Nordstrom in the Houston Galleria is? O.M.G. amazing. I'm going back on Friday for a peel...yes, this Friday.

Wedding Registry!

Mr. Bun Bun and I had such a great time yesterday registering for our china! We decided to register at Macy's & Dillard's!

I'm so excited about our china, flatware, and stemware selection. I showed Mr. Bun Bun and he was thrilled by the Kate Spade Pebble Point collection! Of course we got the matching stemware and flatware in Larabee Dot. Quite excited about these choices! The best part about this collection is there is casual dining options that match as well...and Kate makes some Larabee Dot handbags too!

Wedding Weekend!!

This weekend was great! My MOH came in town and we picked out the bridesmaid dresses! The dress we chose for my 5 girls is absolutely perfect. Tiffany blue of course, short and fun and the best part are the POCKETS!

My MOH also came bearing gifts! She was nice enough to bring a great engagement gift for Mr. Bun Bun and I that will be displayed at the wedding; it's a scrapbook! We will use it instead of a traditional guest book. The second picture is one of the many reasons why my MOH is incredible! She is a graphic designer so she used her great design skills to create this wonderful MOH binder! In the binder she has pictures of the bridesmaids dresses, my flowers and everything else 51510!

Bridesmaid AND a Bride!

Great news! One of my bridesmaids, Lindsay is engaged and she chose me as one of her 8 bridesmaids. I met the other girls and Linds over the weekend for brunch. Here are some pics of the event. the first is me going to Brunch...for some reason I take a lot of pics in my car. The second is the cute bag she gave us and the third is the monogrammed flip flops in her wedding colors. So sweet! Lindsay's wedding is a month after mine so we will be sharing ideas and planning together!

Flowers! Flowers!

What girl doesn't love flowers? Saturday I have an appointment to meet with the florist for the greatest day on earth, May 15, 2010!





Let me just say, I know NOTHING about flowers. I'm quite embarassed to admit to that, but its true. My main color for the wedding is not a color that flowers come in so....I guess I will just pick some other color. Hmmph!





I know I'm going to want the most exotic unique flowers because that's how everything else in the wedding must be!

These flowers are nice, but of course do not match my colors at all!

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Coffee Crisis!

For those of you that know me well, know that I cannot function without my Starbucks in the morning. It is an obsession and I'm fine with that. So every morning I wake up at 5 to get to work by 6. On my way to work there are two Starbucks. One is a funky, old one and the people there are weird. I only go to this one in a pinch. The other one is nice and pretty and its in a great area about 3 blocks from my office. So naturally, I make the effort every dya to get up a little earlier and go to the pretty one. So today I drive up and I notice no one is there, the lights are off and the door is closed. panic. I look at the clock, hmmm...5:50. I could either go to work empty handed (kill me) or find secondary means. I drive a little and notice an open sign on what looks to be some type of food establishment. Kolache Factory....hmmm this may work. Obviously I am desparate at this point. I go in, I order a medium coffee to go (this place is packed btw at 6am) and its amazing coffee. Thank God! I can work without screaming at people.

White the whole time?

So...

I guess the new thing with brides is to wear white the ENTIRE weekend. Actually it may have been that way since the first wedding in America, but since I'm a new bride, it's new to me!

This is great...this means I get to buy ANOTHER DRESS (for the rehearsal dinner)! I love this whole "bridal thing!"

I assumed the white bikini was the only other white I was going to get to wear, but I have been proven wrong!

I feel like I'm back in DZ wearing white all the time. Now I'm going to shop online to find another white dress...

New Shoes!

Mr. Bun Bun is so amazing. What I'm about to share is one of the many reasons why I love him. He took me shoe shopping at Nordstrom just randomly on our day off. Ahh, bliss.

239 days to the big day!

This weekend Mike and I are going away for a relaxing time with friends so no wedding planning for a few days. I will miss it, but I need the break!My dress has been ordered! I'm uber excited. I went to 5 bridal salons on my own in the past 2 months and Mum came in town and went to a few with me and of course I did TONS of online shopping for the perfect dress! I had three requirements for the dress and it has all of them! You will all be very excited about it!

The cake has also been ordered! This was an easy one for me...I've known what I wanted me cake to look like for a LOOONG time! I knew my design was possible, I just needed to get the taste right! More to come soon!

Hey everyone! I decided to start a blog because Erin has been blogging forever and I always get her tweets and it looks so fun! (wow, E, I just realized how uber geek you are, but I guess I am too!!)

I starting this whole website thing when I decided to put a wedding website up. Its a lot of fun. I wish I could share more on my wedding website, but everything is a surprise!
